In celebration of Women's History Month, don't miss the acclaimed Women in Art and Women in Photography exhibitions. Curated by Women in Visual Art (WIVA), an organization dedicated to empowering and supporting women artists, these stunning showcases celebrate the inspired creativity of talented local women. Experience their artistry firsthand by attending their popular opening receptions: Women in Art on March 1st at the Bee Cave Arts Foundation Hive Gallery and Women in Photography on March 8th at the Lake Travis Community Library. With almost 200 artworks and over 100 local artists and photographers, these shows encompass the largest-ever exhibitions of female creatives. You won't want to miss these inspiring women’s events!

Women in Art 2025 Opening Reception
When: Saturday, March 1st from 2-4pm.
Where: Bee Cave Arts Foundation Hive Gallery in the Hill Country Galleria (map).

Celebrate women’s creativity at opening reception for the 3rd annual Women in Art exhibit at the Bee Cave Arts Foundation Hive Gallery on March 1st from 2-4 pm. This acclaimed exhibition, curated by Women in Visual Art (WIVA), celebrates Women's History Month and features the largest-ever display of 160 artworks by 88 local women artists, encompassing paintings, drawings, ceramics, sculptures, mixed media, digital video, lighting, and fiber arts. Stop by to mingle with the artists as they discuss their techniques and share their inspirations. Exhibit is open to the public through March 28th. Gallery hours are Wed-Sat, 1-5pm. Women in Photography 2025 Opening Reception
When: Saturday, March 8th from 1:30-3pm.
Where: Lake Travis Community Library (map).
Tickets: Free.
Capture the moment and continue the celebration of Women's History Month with the powerful 2nd Annual Women in Photography exhibition at the Lake Travis Community Library, March 1-29. Curated by Women in Visual Art (WIVA), this exhibit showcases 14 local women photographers exploring their unique perspectives and the depth of female experiences through themes of age, family, health, beauty, and motherhood. Join us for the opening reception and meet the photographers on International Women’s Day, Saturday, March 8th, 1:30-3pm. Exhibit is open to the public through March 29th.
